Kiwiburn is the New Zealand Regional Burning Man event, held on a paddock annually since 2004 in the North Island.
Kiwiburn is celebrating 20 years in 2024, with a theme to reflect that milestone, two decades of Burning in New Zealand. “Decadance is a mashup of decades and dancing, and is a callback to early Kiwiburn art themes such as Megamorphosis and Elementality. We’re dancing through the decades like we dance through a fire labyrinth. Kiwiburn changes, but we’ll keep dancing on into the future.”
